Active IQ Ltd

Established in 2004, Active IQ is a specialist QCA approved awarding body working closely with SkillsActive the Sector Skills Council for Active Leisure and Learning.

All our qualifications are nationally accredited and fundable and on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) in health, fitness, sport, recreation and leisure.

The qualifications support clearly defined career pathways, from Entry level to Supervisory and Management in the Active Leisure sector, and include such roles as Fitness Instructors, Personal Trainers, Sports Massage Therapists, Leisure attendants, Duty Managers and Fitness Managers.

Our partnership with The Institute of Sport and Recreation Management (ISRM) has enabled us to provide popular industry specific qualifications such as the ISRM National Pool Plant Operator and the ISRM Operators Certificate – these qualifications are proven favourites with leisure operators.

The qualifications range from Entry level to Level 4 and are appropriate for children at key stage 3 and 4, young people aged 16 to 18 and adults.

Our approved centres include colleges, government bodies, schools and private training providers, details of which can be obtained from our website

We pride ourselves in providing first-class customer service and technical support for approved centres, to ensure students\' progress and achievement. Our resources available to all approved centres include OFSTED compliant Schemes of Work, Lesson Plans and PowerPoint presentations, student manuals and online learning. We also provide centre training days for all of our qualifications to enable training providers to acquaint themselves with course content, delivery methodology and assessment strategies.
