STAFF from a South Yorkshire leisure centre are putting their fitness to the test by running a 10km race for charity.
The team from Doncaster Dome will be raising money for Sheffield Children’s Hospital when they take part in the event, which last year attracted over 1000 runners and raised £87,000.
Gavin Baldwin, chief executive, said: “We are delighted to be taking part in this event for such a worthwhile charity. Sheffield Children’s Hospital is one of only four such specialist children’s trust’s in the UK and every year thousands of patients from across Doncaster visit the hospital to see the paediatric specialists.
