OVER 100 people took part in a charity three hour Zumbathon at Wantage Leisure Centre.
The event, in aid of the local Silver Star Maternity Unit, raised £750 and also included arts and crafts sessions for children.
General manager Kevin Williams said: It was a great event with a fun and friendly atmosphere. The two instructors, Kelly Hudson and Angela Burt, deserve a lot of credit as they put together a fun session which has helped more people become more active in the Wantage area.
The centre, which is run by Soll Leisure on behalf of The Vale of the White Horse District Council, is now planning similar events throughout the year including the Sport Relief Mile and Swimathon.
