A LEISURE centre in Petersfield has been recognised for its commitment to providing apprenticeship opportunities.
MP for East Hampshire, Damian Hinds, and representatives from the council visited DC Leisure operated Taro Leisure Centre, touring the facilities and speaking to a group of young apprentices who have completed personal training qualifications with Lifetime.
General manager Chris Gallagher said:Most of our new recruits tend to come from college looking to get into the leisure industry. We encourage internal promotion and development through the ranks at the Centre, so becoming an apprentice is a great way for young people to get their careers off the ground.
