A MUM, whose own daughter battled to survive when she was born at just 23 weeks, has been inspired to set up a fitness group for kids.
Fitness instructor Kirsty Doyle launched Bee Fit sessions at Ripley’s Wood Street Methodist Church after her own daughter Erin was born prematurely weighing just 664g.
She said: “Our aim at Bee Fit is to give every child the opportunity to take part in fun activities and games without the feeling of pressure to excel.
“Not every child wants to be a footballer or play tennis or golf but that doesn’t mean they don’t want to take part in something friendly and fun.”
