Average gymgoer pays £20 per session due to infrequently used memberships

THE average gym member pays more than £20 per session, due to how infrequently they use the services of their club, according to a study by www.MyVoucherCodes.co.uk
The study found the average gymgoer pays an average monthly fee of £41, yet visits the gym just twice a month.
The website carried out the poll as part of ongoing research into the monthly outgoings of consumers around the UK.
1,782 UK adults took part, each of whom had been a member of the same gym for the past 12 months or more.
Respondents answered questions surrounding how often they used their gym and how much they paid for membership.
