THE Royal Life Saving Society has partnered with leisure and community centres to launch a programme which teaches parents and those who care for a baby vital emergency lifesaving skills.
The one to two hour Save a Baby’s Life workshops are designed to provide participants with the confidence to put their skills into practice if a baby's life is threatened.
Sessions will include practical information on what to do when a baby stops breathing, and dealing with a choking or drowning situation. Using a lifelike baby mannequin, the participants can get to grips with performing basic CPR and first aid as you would in a real-life situation.
