SPORTS Leisure Management, trading under its brand Everyone Active, has been awarded the contract by Cotswold District Council to deliver and manage the Cotswold leisure centres at Cirencester, Chipping Campden and Bourton on the Water, plus cultural services at the Corinium Museum in Cirencester and a resource centre in Northleach.
The 10-year agreement starts imminently with the handing over of responsibility due in July 2013.
SLM and Cotswold District Council have assured all employees at the leisure and cultural centres that their jobs are secure. The general public and members of the facilities have also been assured of no price increases for at least three years.
Managing director David Bibby said: “We are very pleased to have been awarded the contract to manage these three excellent services.
“We have a wealth of experience to bring to the Cotswold region and we are seeking to enhance, not just maintain, the customer experience here.
I’m particularly pleased to be keeping all staff in place. This will give customers reassurance as they recognise the team at their local centre and gives us confidence that the employees who have helped deliver such a high standard so far at these centres will join us in making further improvements.”
