THE Royal Life Saving Society UK announced its new president at the charity’s annual conference.
Peter Moyes stepped up from the role of deputy president, taking up the reins for the next three years.
A member of the RLSS UK’s Nottinghamshire Branch, Peter said he was honoured and excited about his election.
He added: “Lifesaving has been such a huge part of my life from an early age and to become president of such a wonderful charity is a great honour.”
