LIFE Fitness’ president Chris Clawson has won the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur Of The Year 2013 award in the consumer products and services category, for the Midwest region.
The award recognises outstanding entrepreneurs who demonstrate excellence and success in areas such as innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities.
Chris shares the honour with his predecessor, Life Fitness co-founde Augie Nieto – a previous recipient of the award.
Chris said: “Life Fitness is an exceptional company and sharing this honour with my mentor, Augie Nieto, makes the recognition even more poignant.
“By adopting the pace of innovation that Augie first pursued, Life Fitness has continued to pioneer game-changing new products like Synrgy360 and new advancements in technology like the LFopen product platform and our Discover Tablet Consoles.”
Awards were presented at a special gala at the Hilton Hotel in Chicago.
