REEDS Health Club at the Best Western Premier Yew Lodge Hotel in Kegworth has become the latest gym to install Power Plate machinery.
The club offered free trial sessions to its members, with sessions charged at £15 thereafter, and the machine was soon generating revenue.
Club manager Neil Hawksworth said: “The Power Plate machine has proved equally popular with club members and hotel guests, who love the fact that they can do a really intensive work out in such a short space of time.
“Training on the Power Plate machine has become an integral part of many of our members’ fitness programmes, whilst whole body relaxation is also proving extremely popular. It has been a huge success at every level.”
Hotel owner Jeremy Pick added: “The Power Plate machine allows us to offer a fresh, exciting approach to exercise that meets the high demands and varied needs of our clients, from those looking for a fast and effective workout, to our more mature members who appreciate the health benefits to be gained from using this exciting equipment.
“We have had some fantastic feedback from staff and members alike. I myself am so convinced of the benefits of training on the Power Plate machine that I have a machine at home.”
