WATFORD Leisure Centre Woodside and Sunbury Leisure Centre have both benefited from a major gym upgrade.
The sites, operated by Everyone Active, have each received a £250K investment and have installed new state-of-the-art fitness kit including X-Cubes, Wattbikes and GRAVITY training on the Total Gym.
Both centres now also offer the Preva system from Precor, which enables members to set personal workout goals as well as an individual long-term focus, such as losing weight or toning up.
The system supports members towards achieving their goals and if they miss a session, Preva automatically recalculates the workouts, ensuring they always stay on track. It also allows members to share their achievements on Twitter and Facebook.
Everyone Active contract manager Karl Miles said: “We hope that the new equipment at both these sites will offer an enhanced experience for customers, enabling them to take control of managing their own fitness goals.
“The use of the internet is increasing all the time and we are delighted to be able to offer these technological advances to encourage fitness at all levels.”
