Fitness fan looks for challenge support

A SHROPSHIRE bodybuilder is urging people to set themselves the ultimate fitness test by taking part in a 100k charity hike.
Ian Venner used to struggle to climb a flight of stairs without feeling out of breath. Now, just three years after resolving to get fit, he will be taking part in Blind Veterans UK’s annual 100k London-to-Brighton Walk this summer.
Ian said: “I have friends who are currently serving in the military, so I’m very aware of the work the Armed Forces undertakes for our country.
“I’ve given money to Blind Veterans UK in the past, but this seemed like such a good way to put myself to the test and really give back to those who have served.”
