FREEDOM Leisure has been awarded a new 10 year contract to continue operating Hassocks Sports Centre.
The not-for-profit leisure trust will continue to operate the centre on behalf of West Sussex County Council and build on their partnership, which has been established since 2008 when Freedom Leisure started its initial five year contract.
Hassocks Sports Centre is situated within the grounds of Downlands Community School and serves the school and wider community. Its facilities include a fully-equipped gym and two dance studios offering a range of exercise classes, Yoga and Pilates.
Freedom Leisure centre manager Kathy Colman said: “We are delighted to be granted the 10 year contract for Hassocks Sports Centre and will ensure we continue to give of our very best here.
“Because of our close proximity to the school, a priority for us is to ensure children’s sports and recreational needs are met, while also offering the wider community a range of sport and fitness opportunities.
“We are proud of what we offer here and very pleased to have the opportunity to continue our good work in Hassocks.”
