Work starts on Europe's first inland surfing destination
FITNESS fans will soon be able to try out a new activity after work started on Europe’s first inland surfing destination.
Situated deep in the Conwy Valley, Surf Snowdonia is due to open next year and will be suitable for both professionals and beginners who love to surf and want to improve their skills.
It is also hoped the attraction will further raise the profile of surfing and eventually see it included as a discipline at the Olympic Games.
