A £250k investment will transform the facility into a top of the range fitness suite, which will see the gym will receive a complete overhaul with extra stations, new flooring and décor.
Equipment from Pulse’s Evolve Strength and Series Three Fusion Cardio lines will be installed, along with a functional training zone and a new indoor cycling studio.
The kit also includes SmartCentre, Pulse’s intelligent gym management system.
National sales manager at Pulse Richard Sheen said: "Our equipment harnesses the latest technology and as such is very well suited to the demographic at King’s Health and Fitness Centre.”
The upgrade is due to be completed by September 2 in time for the new academic year.
