SANOFI has thrown down the gauntlet to fitness operators in a bid to uncover the team that hosts the most compelling event on National Fitness Day.
The global healthcare leader is asking participating operators to document their event using photos and/or video for the chance to win a team dinner to the value of £500. Sanofi will also make a £500 donation to National Fitness Day charity beneficiary Teenage Cancer Trust on behalf of the winning organisation.
Run by not-for-profit health body ukactive, National Fitness Day, taking place on Friday September 26, sees the health and active lifestyle community unite to raise awareness of the benefits of physical activity, inspire people to get active and make it easy and fun to try something new with free taster sessions.
ukactive CEO David Stalker said: “It’s great to have the healthcare industry working together with our sector to highlight the benefits of physical activity and celebrate innovation in delivering that message through a consumer event.
“Our sector has never shied away from a bit of healthy competition; in fact, we thrive on it. This operator challenge is a great incentive for operators to generate the type of “no holds barred” engagement we encourage.”
