THE organisers of the upcoming active-net will be offering delegates a keynote session with a difference.
Deniz Paradot, mindfulness coach and founder of the ‘Be’ School of Health, Happiness and Wellbeing, will kick off the event, taking place later this month, with a keynote on Integrating Mindfulness in Business.
He will enlighten delegates on ‘The Way of the Chimp’, his stress management and employee wellbeing training programme.
Mike Hill, active-net organiser and managing director of Leisure-net Solutions, said: “Interest in mindfulness is growing as we all seek ways to cope with the challenges and complexities of our times. Mental health problems are on the rise, and stress tops the league of reasons for long-term sickness absence.
“Paradot’s keynote will give our delegates something different from the norm and help them think more clearly about how they do business and manage their work/life balance.”
active-net, now in its second year, will take place on April 29 and 30 at imago Burleigh Court and Holywell Park, Loughborough.
