LEISURE operator Sheffield City Trust has added a fifth golf course to its portfolio after winning the contract to run Sinfin in Derby.
SCT has been awarded the management, operation and development contract for the 18-hole course, home of Derby Golf Club.
The new operator, which already runs four other golf courses in Chesterfield and Sheffield, will invest a six figure sum in upgrading the course and its facilities.
Chief executive of SCT Steve Brailey said: “Winning this contract reinforces our position as one of the UK’s leading leisure providers and we look forward to working on this exciting new project at Sinfin.”
