SPEEDO and Nottingham City Council have announced a five year partnership at the newly transformed Harvey Hadden Sports Village.
As well as the naming rights to the pool and poolside area at Harvey Hadden Sports Village, the partnership also includes Speedo supporting six more Nottingham City Council leisure centres.
The 50m pool at Harvey Hadden will be named the Speedo Swim Centre and a new Speedo store has also been opened – offering a range of swimwear, goggles and training equipment.
Speedo UK commercial director Justine Whitby said: “We are delighted to partner with Nottingham City Council to open the brand new Speedo Swim Centre.
“The fantastic new sports facilities at Harvey Hadden will be beneficial to all who come through the doors, and we hope to inspire more people of all ages to enjoy swimming ahead of the Olympic Games next year and beyond.”
The Speedo Swim Centre will sit alongside the improved athletics stadium, new 1.5km closed road cycle circuit, refurbished football pitches, boxing club and leisure centre at the sports village.
