THE first urban Go Ape is set to open in Battersea Park next month in what will be the company’s first site set outside a forest environment.
Set in the heart of Battersea Park and incorporating some of the park’s tallest trees, Go Ape Battersea Park will offer a new twist on the well-established tree top adventure.
Go Ape’s Tristram Mayhew said: "We’ve long wanted to bring our award winning high wire tree top adventure to the centre of London and are delighted that Go Ape in Battersea Park is a first for any city in the UK. The highest obstacle crossings are double the height of most Go Ape courses, and many are twice as long as usual, making them extra wobbly and challenging.
“Go Ape is about creating adventures and encouraging everyone to live life adventurously. We believe we have designed a naturally thrilling test of nerves high up in Battersea’s tree tops. We look forward to welcoming Londoners and seeing if they are up to our challenge.”
