MEMBERS at Careys Manor Hotel and SenSpa in the New Forest have benefitted from a range of new Precor equipment, as part of a refurbishment to make the hotel’s fitness facilities more technologically advanced.
The 1,200 sqft fitness facility now showcases nine Precor cardiovascular pieces all featuring Preva networked fitness, six Discovery Series Selectorised strength machines, along with two Icarian benches and two Concept Two rowers.
The hotel is now aiming to use Preva to set increased goals for members and to track and reward results. It will also be used as a retention tool with the aim of recognising and intervening with those members that may potentially leave.
Operations manager at SenSpa Sean Hincks said: “Members are very happy with the new equipment. They love the technology and the fact that everything is easy to use and the Adaptive Motion Trainer with Open Stride has already become a firm favourite.
“The gym was shortlisted as a finalist in ‘the best health club’ category in the 2015 National Fitness Awards and with the new Precor kit we are hopeful that we will do even better in 2016.”
