As part of the refurbishment, which has a value of about £250,000, Pulse will create a high-tech gym and functional training space.
All cardiovascular equipment with be IFI accredited creating an inclusive fitness environment, and the strength kit will be from the Pulse premium range complete with carbon fibre upholstery to ensure durability and longevity.
Head of Sport at Middlesex University Mel Parker said: “We’ve had previous experience of working with Pulse, but I think they’ve really upped their game in terms of their understanding of the university sector.
“We were thoroughly impressed by their recent developments at Kings College and iGym at Imperial College as well as with the added value package they offered to ensure the success of the project, which really reflected our university’s ethos.”
