PLACES for People Leisure has announced a new formal partnership with Fit for Sport to build on the success the two companies have already achieved by working together.
The operator, which currently manages 113 leisure facilities on behalf of 35 local authority clients, currently work closely in partnership with Fit For Sport at several leisure facilities delivering holiday activity camps and a number of community engagement programmes which aim to support children, schools and families to become more active.
Due to the success of these programmes in engaging young children, Places for People Leisure is looking to roll out the partnership model across its portfolio.
CEO-Founder at Fit For Sport Dean Horridge said: “Creating a positive experience of physical activity at a young age will ensure healthy habits are embedded for life.
“Places for People Leisure are the heart of the community and we believe this partnership will be a great opportunity to create active families and bridge the gap between schools and the centres.”
