ALMOST 200 runners took part in Barnsley Hospital Charity’s annual Rainbow Dash around Locke Park.
Participants found themselves pelted with different coloured powder paints by ‘rainbow warriors’ as they completed one lap of the park or a 5k stretch to raise money for the hospital.
Runners include the hospital’s chief executive Richard Jenkins and his family.
Barnsley Hospital Charity’s fundraising co-ordinator Lisa Calvert said: “We’re overwhelmed with the support we received and the enthusiasm from everyone on the day.
“The whole event couldn’t have gone better and we can’t wait to find out how much we’ve raised.”
