OPERATOR active Tameside has received a Quest award for being the third highest performing Active Communities team of 2017.
People management business partner at Active Tameside Linda De-Giorgio collected the award at the joint Quest NBS and CIMSPA conference, which was held at the Chesford Grange hotel in Warwick.
Head of education and sport Andrew Dwyer said: “Active Tameside are delighted to achieve the award for third highest performing Active Communities sports development team in the country.
“This has been achieved by great teamwork, along with progressive development of all services and frontline delivery staff which has all been developed going through the Quest Active Communities accreditation. “Quest has contributed to whole team development allowing all staff to plan and deliver high quality services within the Tameside community.”
